“Foreign Inspirations”

With special guests Miika Gregg (Dallas Symphony) and Damon K. Clark (Dallas Opera), this concert features works by composers who were inspired by cultures different from their own.

Antonin Dvorak was a Czech composer inspired by the music he heard during a stay in the United States. Open Classical director Mark Landson was highly influenced by the music of Spain during his years living in that country. Bizet was a Frenchman also inspired by Spain and Puccini an Italian inspired by China.

All of these “foreign influences” come together in a magical concert that will carry you to the four corners of the world and exalt your spirit.
